Kinja'd!!!

all of the bikes winterized and 5/6 up on their stands or center stands. the BMW doesnt get stands this year as its on old tires, so its stanxds went to the kawi.

IDK how I manages it either, but ALL of the bikes had like no gas left in them. and as it turns out, I needed a LOT of gas to fill them .

25L for the VFR. 22L for the CBF. 17L for the SV. 13 L for the BMW, the Kawi and the CBR. 103L of fuel. and then the mission to pull all of the batteries and make sure the oil was good and ugh. #firstworldproblems.

Your BMW spot doesn’t look very German.

I can usually stretch it to November. but I’ve got almost everything ready; change of fluids, plastic mat for the garage floor, stands, etc.  Just need a cover for the Street Glide since the Dyna one won’t fit and it’s going over my buddy’s Shadow instead.  gonna be cramming 4 (big) bikes in a one-car garage this winter.

What does one need to do to prepare a fuel injected bike for winter? I was just going to fill up with stabelized gas, plug in my battery tender, and call it a year.

run it for a few minutes to get the treated fuel into the injectors.

I dont drain my carbed bikes with, but I do the same, run it for a bit to load up the carbs.

Unless you live in Canada/Alaska , farscythe is almost certainly farther north than you. Probably around 52°N.

Michigan checking in. Still riding. I wear my snowmobile gear to keep the cold at bay. Snow won’t accumulate for a month or two. In the meantime, t wo wheels good.

I’m hoping to get a couple more weeks in, this week is supposed to be fairly nice here so I should be able to. I winterized the Maxim this past weekend (probably a little early) but I’ll keep the Warrior out until the last possible day.

Edit: South Dakota, we got snow this last weekend, but it’s pretty much gone already.
